Affordable password manager for startups under 10 users

For a startup of 1–12 users, LitePassword is flat-priced: $5/mo total for the Family plan (up to 5 users) and $10/mo total for Business (up to 12 users). Compare that to per-seat competitors — 1Password Teams Starter at $19.95/mo (up to 10 users), Dashlane Business at $8/user/mo ($80/mo for 10 users), or Bitwarden Teams at $4/user/mo ($40/mo for 10 users). LitePassword is dramatically cheaper at every team size because pricing is flat.

Password manager pricing for 5 users

For 5 users, LitePassword Family is $5/mo flat — that's $1 per user per month effectively. The plan caps at 5 users, 50 vaults, 200 secrets. Above 5 users, the Business plan kicks in at $10/mo flat and covers you up to 12 people (so as your team grows from 6 to 12, your bill stays at $10/mo).

Cheapest team password manager 2026

LitePassword is among the cheapest team password managers in 2026 because of flat pricing. At 5 users: LitePassword Family is $5/mo flat, vs Bitwarden Teams at $20/mo (5 × $4) or NordPass Teams at $8.95/mo (5 × $1.79). At 10 users: LitePassword Business is $10/mo flat, vs Bitwarden at $40/mo or NordPass at $17.90/mo. Flat pricing beats per-seat once you're past 3 users.

Free password manager for small business with team sharing

LitePassword's Free tier covers 1 user with 1 vault and 5 secrets — enough for a solo founder to evaluate the product, but not for team sharing. For actual team sharing across 2+ people, you need at least the Family plan at $5/mo flat. Bitwarden's free tier supports unlimited personal items plus 2-user sharing for free if cost is the absolute constraint.

Password manager with flat pricing — no per-seat surprise

Every paid plan is flat. Family is $5/mo whether you use 1 of the 5 seats or all 5. Business is $10/mo for any number of users up to 12. No per-seat scaling, no overage charges, no enterprise tier you can accidentally trigger. Hard caps are visible in the app so you always know exactly where you are versus your plan limits.

PRICING FAQ

Pricing questions, answered.

How much does LitePassword cost?

LitePassword has flat plan pricing (not per-user). Free is $0 for 1 user. Personal is $1.50/mo for 1 user with more vaults and secrets. Family is $5/mo total for up to 5 users. Business is $10/mo total for up to 12 users. Annual billing saves about 17% on each tier.

Is LitePassword pricing per user or flat?

Flat per plan. The Family plan is $5/mo whether you use 1 of the 5 seats or all 5. Business is $10/mo for up to 12 users. No per-seat scaling, no surprise overage charges if your team grows.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade any time from your Subscription page — we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial of Family or Business?

The Free plan is unlimited in time so you can try the core product. To trial a paid plan, start it and cancel within the first billing period — we will refund unused time.

What happens if I hit my plan limits?

New vault, secret, or user actions are blocked with a clear upgrade prompt. Nothing in your existing vaults is deleted or hidden — you can continue to read and use what you already have until you upgrade.

Can I get an invoice for accounting?

Yes. PayPal-issued invoices for every charge are available in your Subscription page for 24 months.

Do you offer a custom plan for larger teams?

Yes. If you need more than 12 users, 150 vaults, or 600 secrets, contact us through the Support page and we will put together a custom plan.
