1. Acceptance

By creating an account and signing in to LitePassword, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

2. Service description

LitePassword is a zero-knowledge password manager. We store your data as ciphertext that we cannot read. You hold the only key (your master password) that decrypts it.

3. Your responsibilities

• Choose a strong, unique master password.
• Save the recovery key we generate at master-password setup. We cannot give you a new one if you lose it.
• Keep your account credentials confidential.
• Don't use the service for illegal activity or to store content that violates applicable law.

4. Plans and billing

Free, Personal, Family, and Business plans are available. Paid plans bill flat per plan per month or per year through PayPal — they are not per-user. You can change or cancel plans at any time from your Subscription page.

5. Refunds

If you cancel a paid plan within the first 14 days, we refund unused time. After 14 days, charges already billed are not refunded; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

6. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice except in cases of urgent security risk.

7. No warranty for recovered data

Because LitePassword is zero-knowledge, we cannot recover lost master passwords or recovery keys. We make no warranty that data will be recoverable if both are lost.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes

Material changes to these Terms will be posted here and notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LitePassword is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
